She is still sticking to the nesting box. I sprayed the gland with the wound care again, but I didnโt get to bathe her again. Iโve been busy getting ready for our trip tomorrow. I took her out of the box and set her down outside of the coop with the others, and she pecked around looking for food like she always does. She did shake her feathers a couple of times, but I never saw her rub her head over her back like yesterday. She did twist her head around and swiped across the gland once, but not nearly as aggressively as yesterday. She growls at me when I come near her, but she has not pecked me at all. I did see her poop, and it looked normal. That was a relief, because that proves she is not egg bound. Of course, I am going to worry about her the whole time we are gone. I am praying so hard that she gets well and is alive and back to normal when we get back. I really hate this!! I canโt stand when something is wrong with my babies! ๐ญ๐ญ
I will try to take walks when we are gone. I will eat right as well.
The rain was amazing! We got 3 inches today, and even though the ponds are not full again, they have filled back up quite a bit. Itโs such a relief! I just hope it greens up the fields again.
