Well, we havenโt heard from the plumber so far. I am still holding out hope that we will. ๐ค
When you said โa bubbling pan of lasagna,โ it brought me right back to when Iโve made it in the past. Soooo good!!!! And now that you said that I will remember my first meal in the oven for the rest of my lifeโฆ..you are so right! I do tend to remember things like that, so I need to choose carefully. Iโll ask Scott what heโd likeโฆ.Iโll let you know when itโs decided. ๐
It took me all day yesterday to do the pantry! There are so many nail holes and 5 shelves that wrap around three sides of the pantry. I needed a stepladder to reach the top shelves, and I had to sit on the floor to get the bottom shelves. And then I needed to let them dry before I painted. I was finished with the painting at 8 oโclock last night.
But you know what, it felt really good! And it looks amazing! Scott praised it up and down.
Good question about with whom I will share the cookies. I think it will be just Scott and me. Then I can share them with friends!
The electrician doesnโt need any more eggs at the moment, but every time he gets them he says he wants to pay for them. He told me today that his wife keeps telling him to give me some money for themโฆ..because of the feed we buy and the cartons and the general upkeep. But I just canโt take money from him. He is going above and beyond for us, and thatโs worth so much more than cartons of eggs. He fixed the issue with the electricity in the islandโฆ.he didnโt have to jack hammer up the cement or cut the wall to get the wires-that is NOT part of his job, but he insisted on doing it for us. And he cleaned up after himself! Heโs a great electrician and person. He really wants us to meet his wife and become friends someday. We would love that! Someone else to play cards with!
Itโs a rainy day today. Iโm not sure what Iโll do today, but Iโm ready!
