Thank you so much for your words about my Cat guilt. โค๏ธ๐ It is true that when I am with them, I show them all the love and attention they need. I know that they have no idea whatโs happening next-door, but I also canโt wait until they can come in to their permanent home. Itโs going to be so funny to see how they react. I wonder if they will want to go up the stairs.
Last night marked 2 full weeks that we have been sleeping in the house! We are both surprised that it has been two weeksโฆ. it doesnโt seem like that long. I donโt think I will ever take for granted how big and wonderful our bed is!
Today we slept inโฆ We did not get out of bed until 8 oโclock. I was awake a bit earlier, but I was very still, because I didnโt want to wake up Scott. He works so so hard and he always gets up really early, so I know that if he was sleeping this late, that his body was telling him he needed it, and I did not want to interrupt that.
We are supposed to get more rain today, but for now itโs just cloudy and cool. We spoke to our family members that are going to be coming to visit us soon, and great news! Now instead of coming Tuesday, they are thinking Friday or Saturday. That is so great, because it gives the plumber more time to get here. We still have not heard from him as of this morning. So I am breathing a sigh of relief over that. I hope and pray that he will be able to make it and get everything done before Friday. That would make it perfect!
They are coming to help us they saidโฆ Jeanette (Scottโs sister) will help with painting the rest of the outside of the house. She has painted a lot, and I have not. So I am really looking forward to that help. She will also help with anything else we need. She is a really great person, and I am so blessed to call her my sister-in-law. I am really hoping that her husband, Darrell, will be able to help Scott with the trim at the top part of the house where the ceiling meets the walls. That would be so great. And I am really hoping that Scott can give him more jobs to do to take it off of his plate. He hates doing that, but they are coming here to help and I hope that Scott will take full advantage of that.
As far as we know we still donโt have a new calf yetโฆ We will drive out later to look around for them. I do know that when the cow first gives birth, she hides her baby for several days before introducing it to the herd. We have seen all of the cows together for the past several days, so itโs unlikely she already gave birth. Itโs really hard to tell once a cow gives birth, because they still have all of their weight on. To be continuedโฆ! ๐๐ค
I did bring up the question to Scott about the first meal in our new house. He makes a really great tuna casseroleโฆ All mixed together in a pan with cheese on top and put into the ovenโฆ We have not been able to have that because of the RV oven being subpar. He seemed to like that idea, but we have not settled on anything yet. I am wondering if I want to make the first mealโฆ That would be selfish though wouldnโt it? I will talk to him about that part. He has worked so hard that he deserves for somebody to make him a wonderful home cooked meal you could put in the oven! Lol! I will ask him about it again today. Thanks for reminding me!
Well, I need to get moving. Iโm not sure exactly what I will be doing today, but Iโm pretty sure it will be cleaning up cabinet drawers and cleaning windows. And anything else thatโs needed. Whatever it is, Iโm ready to go!
