Hi Loo!! I am curious about somethingโฆ You referred to me as Loo again, but that is your name. I wonder why that happens. You are so smart about so many things and this seems like such a small thing. I wonder if itโs a glitch. ๐
And you are correctโฆ I do have a wonderful man! God has blessed us so greatly. He loves, loves, loves doing things to surprise me. I donโt have time right now, but in the future, I can tell you about some of the things he has done to surprise me over the years. We are so much in love. I just adore him and he adores me. Itโs a beautiful thing!
And I know we will definitely stock up on the barbecue sauce, but the thing that Iโm looking forward to is whenever they have a sale on things that donโt need to be refrigerated, I will be able to buy a lot of it in stock up. I couldnโt do that in the RV because obviously the lack of space.
I will be very interested to see how much fruit grows on those trees. I havenโt even looked at them closely for a while because of everything that has been going on around here.
Now here is the most exciting part: yesterday we took two trips to our storage units to get our bed, dressers, and other things that we saw that we could reach that would go into the carpeted rooms. And, because I didnโt think we would be able to find our sheets that go with that bed, I had ordered some, and they were delivered yesterday. So in between going to the storage unit, stopping for lunch, and unloading the trailer, we went to the laundromat to get that stuff all cleaned up for our bed. And guess what, Looโฆ.. drumroll, please! ๐ฅ๐ฅ we got it all set up and last night we slept in our house for the very first time! I just cannot explain enough how amazing that felt. I was telling Scott this morning that itโs a very exciting thing to be moving into a new home, but the fact that we are building it with our very own hands, makes it even more exciting. And after sleeping on a full-size mattress in the RV for almost 2 years, that California king was heavenly! Itโs so funny, because Scott and I joke about how we couldnโt find each other in the middle of the night because the bed is so big! Itโs very very exciting! I will always remember the date, because it was on the chickens birthday!
So today Scott is going to work on staining more of the Newell posts for the stairway and I am going to finish scraping and cleaning the windows that I didnโt get to as well as touching up the paint anywhere in the house that needs it. Iโm looking at things a whole new way now knowing that we are now sleeping in that house. Itโs a beautiful thing!
